With the awareness of not being deprived of children from the hills and inaccessible areas, all office bearers of the Koyana Education Society came together in 1964 and started a new English school, Taldev, in the year 1964, and started an evergreen era of education and knowledge. They are working on the enlightenment till nowadays.
Under the creative guidance of President of the Institute Mr. Kisanrao Jadhav, Secretary Mr. D.K.Jadhav and a Board of Directors, the expansion of this educational institution has been done very well by eight schools in Mahabaleshwar and Javali District. Computer education, Semi-English classes, general knowledge, games and tournaments are held from the branches of the expanded organization in remote areas. Expert and experienced Headmasters, all teachers and non-teaching staff are working sincerely for quality enhancement of students.

In 1964, Social Workers from Mahabaleshwar taluka came together to establish Koyana Education Society, Taldev to make educational progress for the poor farmers displaced due to the Koyana project of Mahabaleshwar and Javali in the very remote areas of Satara district and to reduce social backwardness. This leads to the educational progress and social development of the children in remote areas. This institution has a big expansion of eight secondary schools, one part schools, and three junior colleges. This has facilitated education for the students of the area. I have been tried and will continue to help in my social life from time to time.
The organization's President, Vice President, Secretary and all the Board of Directors has kept the status, quality and awareness of the organization. In the changing education flow and policy, the organization will stand in front of the people of the region, expressing the hope that it will be an educational Gangotri in the future.
