The school was started with only 75 to 80 students. There was lack of aducational attitude. Higher poverty, no transportation, not any Government Grant, heavy rain fall up to 4 months, no electricity. In earlier times, students were not interested in school activities.
On the other side no qualified teachers were ready to stay at school.Students had to come to school on foot. So it was tough time for institution with all these adversities the president and all board of directors overcome with the situation. They explored all the ways to run the school. This task of the institution was noticed by many great men and helped the institution in many ways.
Today the institution has 8 branches and one extension school of Taldeo at Tapola, as well as five hostels.

Name - llaben Mehata Vidyalaya & Jr. Collage, Art & Commerce.
Established - 1967. The mother branch, classes from V to XII. Feeding villages near about 125.
Two hostels for 372 students.

KOYANAMAI VASTIGRAH, TALDEO
AIM - to educate the children of ' DAM affected people' Capacity - 300 students.

AIM - to educate the children of the backward class people from this area. Capacity - 72 students.
Remark - the unique school of the institution has been educating the childern. Since last 50 years and developed the career of so many children. Most remarkable thing is increasing number of the girls in school.

After well settlement of the first school the instition started to opening new branches - one of them is Lohiya Vidyalaya, Saigaon. V to XII Arts & Commerce.

Place: Situated on the bank of Kandati river. Transportation only with the help of boat.It is totally Isolated from the modernization & communication. For teachers,the journey of whole day is essential to reach at school. They stay their for whole week. No any type of communication with rest of the world is available.
Remark: All the students come to school from very remote area. Some villages are in so interior part it is not possible to come to school on foot, so institition started to run hostel for such boys. उल्लेखनीय बाब -अतिशय दुर्गम परिसरातून काही तास अंतर चालून विद्याथी शाळेत येतात . याठिकाणी १५० विद्याथी क्षमतेचे वसतीगृह सुरु आहे .
